Look out for our full review in the next few days, where we’ll explain how we got on, but for now see the unboxing photos on this page to see exactly what’s included and how well it’s packaged.

The Russell Hobbs Platinum Grind and Brew machine grinds fresh coffee beans and also has the ability to use ground coffee. You can produce from 2 to 10 cups, although this obviously varies on cup size and a medium sized Costa cup works out at 2 cups.

In a nutshell, we found setting the machine to the 4 cup level only produced 2 cups with such a size.

The moment you open up the Russell Hobbs 14899 box, this is what you will find inside. The instruction manual on top and secured in place with polystyrene. This is more than adequate with the units weight and packaging holding everything in place.

The Box Contains – once you get everything out, you will find the Glass carafe, one-year guarantee card, instruction booklet, and coffee maker.

This coffee maker shouts build quality without even turning the machine on, as expected though considering this automatic coffee maker is part of the Russell Hobbs Platinum Collection.

The various options for changing coffee settings are immediately visible once unpacked, so you won’t have any problems finding such settings to change coffee strength from light to dark.
