The popular Zumba Fitness game — which took the number one spot on the all-format UK Games Chart back in April — may not have been out for that long, but we’ve already heard that Majesco Entertainment has recently announced the Zumba Fitness 2 game for the Nintendo Wii.
According to a recent videogamer.com article by Emily Gera, the upcoming sequel is slated for a ‘holiday 2011’ release in North America. Although there’s no firm news on a UK release as of yet, its release is pretty certain considering the first game’s success in the UK.
The Zumba Fitness 2 game is said to include a number of additional features that weren’t seen in the original title. The sequel will feature a total of 20 dance styles including Salsa and Reggaeton from the original title, as well as some brand new styles such as Latin Pop, Bellydancing, and ‘Axe.’
Players will also be able to customize their dance experience by creating their own musical playlists in the Zumba Class Mode, as well as choosing one of the 5 new locations as their backdrop. The game also features a Zumba Party Mode, which will allow players to invite up to four friends.
The game will also provide users with step-by-step tutorials, as well as help from celebrity instructors such as Beto, Gina Grant and Tanya Beardsley. Are you a fan of the Zumba Fitness game?
