Zelda Shard of Nightmare Wii U anticipation

As we approach Nintendo’s E3 2014 announcements, things are really starting to heat up on the anticipation level – especially with regards to the new A Legend of Zelda Wii U game that is on the way.

Nintendo has done a good job in keeping things wrapped up in previous months, but as we have seen this week with the seemingly confirmed Pokken Fighters – something massive may have been leaked.

If you have been following E3 2014 rumors, you may know that there is an apparent document that is floating around, appearing to confirm what Nintendo will be showing at E3 2014 and also what games will be playable too.

Included on the list is something called The Legend of Zelda: Shard of Nightmare. Obviously this is the first time that we have seen a title attached to the elusive game in development and there’s no denying that it sounds like a cool title to fit Link’s next adventure.

Take a look at the list above, you can clearly see the game highlighted. Now, there is a good chance that the entire list could be fake making this irrelevant, but hold on – there’s more.

Exciting!
Exciting!

Have a look at this image we found on Twitter which appears to back up evidence on the Shard of Nightmare name. It certainly looks like a Zelda logo, but again there is always the chance that this could be another cruel photoshop attempt.

With E3 just around the corner, we really can’t wait to see the answer to this mystery. Give us your thoughts on this – Would you like to see Zelda: Shard of Nightware on Wii U? It could even be playable if you are attending – which would be amazing.

Do you think the logo is real or fake?
