Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D Review: Better Than Original

There has been a lot of interest surrounding The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D for Nintendo 3DS, recently Nintendo Power’s review summary showed up on metacritic (here) and by the looks of things it is great.

The review will be published in its entirety in the June 2011 issue of Nintendo Power (on page 82), Nintendo Power score the remake 95/100 and go on to say that Ocarina of Time has always been great, but it has now gotten substantially better.

As we can only see the review summary we have no in-depth details, however the editor who wrote the review suggests that Ocarina of Time 3D benefits from 3D more than any other 3DS title we have seen released so far, which should be great news for Nintendo’s latest handheld.

Lots of comments on our previous posts have suggested that many people bought their Nintendo 3DS for this title alone, therefore it is nice to see that at least one critic has complimented the game so heavily, it will be interesting to see just how well the game fares when once it has been reviewed by the likes of IGN, GameSpot and GamesRadar.

Just to recap the game will arrive on June 19, therefore we expect to see lots of reviews published over the next couple of weeks, also we hope to see the game in action at E3 2011 which kicks off in less than a week.

Do you think Ocarina of Time 3D will exceed expectations?
