Zelda 3DS XL doesn’t come with a charger

We finally have some good news for those of you in the UK who are looking to pick up The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. Nintendo has confirmed at last that the special 3DS console to celebrate the game will not be Japan exclusive after all – it’s coming to UK shores as well.

This limited edition console looks gorgeous as well, and now you have the chance to own a little piece of history when you pick up the next major Zelda game to hit handheld. We can confirm that the black and gold limited edition A Link Between Worlds 3DS XL console is now available to pre-order online, ready for a release date on the same day which the game launches – November 22.

The price for the console is £199 and includes a 4GB SD memory card and a download code for Zelda: A Link Between Worlds which you’ll be able to access on November 22. However, it does not come with a charger inside the box, so if you are buying a 3DS for the very first time – you’ll have to buy a new charger on top as well, remember that.

This isn’t just a twisted deal for the limited edition Zelda console, it’s a company decision by Nintendo that is standard on all new 3DS XL consoles – we’re not sure it’s the best decision though, do you? We’ve already heard a lot of complaints from new consumers picking up the Pokemon X and Y XL systems for the first time and being shocked that it didn’t come with a charger in the box.

Still though, you have a heads-up, so make sure you don’t fall in the same trap. Otherwise, you’ll end up getting this gorgeous console, but only have a short amount of time to play on launch day before it dies on you.

Have you added this Zelda black and gold console to your shopping list during the Holiday season? Let us know if you fell for the same charger trap.
