Zedge app on iPhone needs ToneSync

If you are looking for a way to get free ringtones on your iPhone 5 or 5S, you may want to take a look at the popular Zedge app. The Android and iOS versions have just been updated offering an even better experience when downloading a vast array of new ringtones and wallpapers to explore.

From what we can see, this could be the most stress-free way to keep your iPhone updated with the latest ringtones. Zedge is becoming a massive hit with consumers, although it does require a bit of set-up before you can use it to its full potential.

Getting free ringtones on Zedge for iPhone specifically requires the use of ToneSync, which is a separate app that you need to download first to sync your mobile device with iTunes.

It doesn’t cost anything to get ToneSync on your device and you’ll be pleased to hear that the process is very straight forward.

In the image above, you’ll be greeted with this message first, telling that you need to sync Zedge with iTunes using a simple QR-scan. Once paired up, you’ll get a big ‘tick’ appear on screen which will then allow you to download Ringtones straight to your iTunes, allowing you to put them onto your iPhone within minutes.

We’re pleased to say that the selection of ringtones also features some familiar tones, one of which is the theme from the latest Hobbit movie. We also spotted a bit of 2-Pac California Love in the mix, although some may be questioning the legality of the app with some of the copyrighted material that is mixed in with the custom ringtones.

Zedge app reviews on both the App Store and Google Play Store seem to suggest that this is easily the best free wallpaper and ringtone app available right now. Try it out for yourself now and let us know how you get on.

Would you agree that this app is too good to be true? Be sure to mention if you are having any problems getting ToneSync set up.
