Yakuza of the End Game Receives New Release Date

We have some good news now for all you Yakuza fans out there, as the much-anticipated Yakuza of the End game has just received a new release date. The action-adventure title was originally meant to launch on March 18th, but Sega delayed the game following the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

According to Anoop Gantayat over on the website, Sega has announced that the game (known as Ryu ga Gotoku of the End in Japan) will be arriving on June 9th, with the price remaining at ¥7,980. However, there has been a slight change to the packaging of the game since its delay.

The upcoming game cover will now include a sticker that reads ‘Ryu ga Gotoku Ganbaro, Nippon!’ Sega — the publisher and developer of Yakuza of the End – also announced that a portion of the game’s sales will be given to the Japan Red Cross, to help in the earthquake and tsunami recovery efforts.

This latest installment is definitely a big departure from the storyline of the Yakuza series. The Yakuza of the End game sees gamers taking control of not one but four characters, including the main character Kazuma Kiryu. Players will be battling against zombies that have taken over Kamurocho.

Are you looking forward to the release of the Yakuza of the End game?
