Xwavia broadband speed to increase in Wales, UK

The new Xwavia brand is not the only thing to change from the company previously known as eXwavia, as it has managed to secure a new business plan that will see the broadband provider increase its speeds in Wales, UK. Xwavia has managed to secure an investment from Finance Wales for the sum of £1.2 million.

This funding will help the company grow, as well as give their customers a far better service, not only will speeds be increased, but so will capacity and reach, as they embark on a chapter to bring fiber optic to more homes, although they will still make full use of the current wireless and copper broadband technologies.

It is reported that Xwavia will see many changes over the next three years, which will begin with an expansion of its headquarters in Welshpool. New positions will have to be filled in order to take the company in a new direction.

Xwavia broadband speed to increase

It is all very well having these new positions and a revamped HQ, but all Xwavia customers care about is improved service and increased speed. One area of Wales that will be happy with this latest investment is Conwy, as they have yet to receive superfast broadband, although we should start to see speeds increase in this area very soon.

This means that many areas in Wales will soon have access to broadband speeds from 10 to 100 mbps at an affordable rate, rather than sky high prices we have seen in the past.

Both residential and business customers will benefit from these new speeds, with the latter being of most importance, as slow broadband speeds will stop a company from reaching its true potential.

Not all these things will happen overnight, as Xwavia is to implement these changes over the next three years.
