Xiaomi Mi VR Play review revisited for India buying indecision

A week from today you will finally be able to buy the Xiaomi Mi VR Play headset in India, as sales go live from December 21, 2016, so next Wednesday. The price is very competitive at just INR 999, which converts to just $15. It’s very basic in design and will be compatible with any smartphone from 4.7 inches to 5.7 inches – so will support a wide variety of handsets.

You might have already read a few reviews recently, although seeing as though the people of India will soon be able to get their hands on this cool product, we are sure they will be eager to refresh themselves with a Xiaomi Mi VR Play review. It’s for this reason why we thought we would point you in the direction of several reviews in the hope that they will help those looking to buy one, but are filled with indecision. Oh, before we do look at a few reviews, it’s worth pointing out that this headset coming to the Indian market next week does not come with a head strap, which could be a bit of a pain.

One such review is from Android Central, where they got to try out the headset back in September. The review is not too in-depth, although there is not really a great deal they can say about the product when compared to the likes of a phone, tablet or laptop. However, they do offer more than enough advice to allow you to come to an informed buying decision.

Wearable came up with a slightly more in-depth review, where they first look at its build and design, then give it a test to see how well it performs while in use.

Finally, we have come across this Xiaomi Mi VR Play Headset Unboxing and Review with Gameplay, which we have embedded for you below. The video runs for just over 9 minutes and explains all you need to know about the device. Not only that but as you get to see it in action you get a far better idea on how it performs
