Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 Android Oreo 8.1 download out now

We have some great news for those with the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, as thanks to the XDA Forums you can now get your hands on a custom version of Android 8.1 Oreo for the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2.

Xiaomi’s latest flagship launched last year with Android 7.1 Nougat, but if you would like to try out the latest version of Android you now can.

This is thanks to XDA Forum member andr68rus who has released the OmniROM build of Android 8.1 Oreo which you can now download here.

If you do decide to give OmniROM a try, you’ll be benefiting from luxury features such as LED customization and a whole new multitasking menu called Omniswitch which you may enjoy.

Let us know if you are a happy Xiaomi phone owner out there and are willing to try out an early build of Android 8.1 Oreo before an official version is available.
