European and North American gamers received a bit of good news recently, when Nintendo confirmed that the Xenoblade Chronicles game — known as just Xenoblade in Japan — for the Nintendo Wii would in fact be released in their regions at some point this year.
Now we have another bit of interesting news, as a voice actor who is working on the upcoming RPG appears to have revealed a possible release date. According to Thomas Worthington at gamerzines.com, Peter Dickson announced on Twitter that he is playing the role of Emperor Sorean.
Besides announcing the role that he is voicing, Peter — who is known in the UK for his voice over work on reality TV shows such as the X-Factor, Britain’s Got Talent and Family Fortunes — also revealed that the game is coming out in September, although he didn’t give a specific date.
This isn’t the only video game that Dickson has leant his voice to either, as he’s also made appearances in Kinect Sports and both the Fable and Dragon Quest video game series. The game has proved quite popular in Japan, receiving an overall score of 36/40 from Famitsu magazine.
Do you think you will be buying the Xenoblade Chronicles game?
