We have some exciting news now for our UK readers, as it has been confirmed that the Xbox One X UK pre-order date is just hours away with Microsoft now giving the go head on the standard edition rollout.
Just to clarify, this is the Xbox One X Standard Edition, rather than the Project Scorpio Edition. The differences are that Project Scorpio owners will see a unique design with a custom controller, but price remains the same and more importantly hardware specs inside do as well which includes 1Tb of storage.
In the UK, retailer GAME has made a big fanfare on the fact that they will be one of the first to offer pre-orders for the Xbox One X starting from 8am on Wednesday September 20 across all of their stores.
The price will be set at £449.99, but we understand that you will just have to pay a deposit in-store, in order to secure your pre-order and pay the full amount when the system launches on November 7.
Xbox One X will offer 4K gaming, along with HDR and also enhance Xbox One games too so you can enjoy them in finer quality thanks to the new hardware power.
At the moment, we are waiting for retailers such as Argos, Amazon UK, Smyths and Tesco to follow suit but when they do we will let you know if they are planning to drop the price to gain an advantage over GAME.
