Xbox One September update features list

Hours ago we told you that the Games with Gold September update had gone live, with Microsoft offering new Xbox One and Xbox 360 games to play next month. Now though, we are happy to confirm that a new Xbox One software update has also gone live and we have the full feature list to share with you.

With 3D Blu-Ray support now on the Xbox One, it’s great to see Microsoft continuing to add to the overall feature list as they try to stay competitive with the PS4.

For September, we can see that Microsoft has added new features such as a new Xbox One media player adding more file support, an improved Party App, the ability to save Avatar GamerPics and much more.

Some of the more cooler features include an Xbox One boot to TV mode, allowing your console to automatically go into TV mode on startup. There’s also the ability to view how much bandwidth you are currently burning through if you have a limited supply due to ISP caps.

Microsoft is also promising to bring Xbox One DLNA support, which is pretty major given that PS4 owners have been begging Sony to add this without success. If Microsoft manage to get this feature on Xbox One before PS4, that will be a big deal to gamers.

You can view the full Xbox One September update feature list here over at Major Nelson. Let us know if you are happy with this update and what you want to see next.

We also told you about some early issues following on from the new update which you can read about hereis everything working as normal now for you?
