Microsoft’s new console has some great social sharing capabilities, but it lacks an Xbox One screenshot command that’s an important feature desired by many of gamers. As you would imagine, a number of these people have reached out to the powers that be asking when such a capture mode will be available? The good news is this feature is on the way sooner than you might think.
Phil Spencer is the Head of Xbox and he’s been contacted on Twitter in regard to this very topic. The tweet and answer Spencer gave can be seen below, which basically explains that the Xbox One voice screenshot command is on the way and might even be part of the June 2014 update.
After being asked if there’s plans for the ability to share in-game screenshots to Twitter, Facebook, and other social networks. Spencer gave a welcoming, “yea”, and explained this feature is on the list of “monthly updates”.
@jmarris09 Yea, this is the list for the monthly updates, team is making great progress on the updates. More features to come.

Would you like the ability to share screenshots to social networks added to the June Xbox One update? There’s hope we could see the Xbox One screenshot command added to the June 2014 update. The fact that the “team is making great progress” only makes this a real possibility, but we’d have to wait and see after it being only 2 weeks since the last software update.
