Xbox One problems for select few

Today was a big day for Microsoft because it is the day they released the Xbox One, and those of you who were lucky enough to get their hands on one in time have been enjoying the next-gen console. However, like all new releases, it has not been without its problems.

Let us get one thing straight from the start, there will be some bad press going around about these Xbox One problems, just like the PS4, trying to make out they are much worse than they are. You have to look at the bigger picture, these problems are only being experienced by a select few, and so neither console should be ridiculed for it.

Take the disc issue, yes it is a problem for some, but we know plenty of people who have had no such problems, just like a huge percentage of you out there.

We also reported on some Xbox One consoles bricking; again we have only heard from a handful of people about this happening to them. However, Microsoft has acknowledged that there was an issue with the day one patch that produced an error code that bricked the console. There is a solution, which you can read about on the Xbox One support page.

We are now hearing about what is being dubbed the “Green Screen of Death”, which you can see for yourself in the video below. The name is a bit over dramatic considering it is just the Xbox One freezing when trying to boot up.

There is one last fault that you might not be aware of, and that is if you have a haircut, then the Xbox One Kinect will not recognize you. Having said that, it would have to be a serious haircut for that to happen.

Okay, so we can clearly see there are a few issues with the Xbox One, but again they are not as serious as some of the media is trying to make out because these Xbox One problems are only being experienced by a select few.
