Xbox One price drop ignored over bonus game

The Xbox One hasn’t been on the market long, yet there are already calls for a price drop. We have already seen hints of this, although this was only for two online UK retailers owned by the same company, and it wasn’t long before the price went back to normal.

However, there are still calls for a more permanent Xbox One price drop seeing as though latest sales figures seem to suggest that Microsoft’s latest games console is struggling when compared to the PS4. That’s a completely different matter, something that we will not be drawn into at this time. All we know is, it doesn’t matter what console you have, consumers always want the best deal possible.

Walmart answers the call — The American retail giant might not be reducing the price of the Xbox One but, they do have an incentive and that’s a free game when you purchase a new Xbox One console.

You don’t get to choose any Xbox One title, but there is a choice of several top selling games, such as Call of Duty: Ghosts, Battlefield 4, NBA 2K14 and Madden 25. To us this is a real deal because these are still hot games, one that you will want in your Xbox One games collection.

No doubt there will be Xbox One haters out there that suggest retailers are getting desperate because we have never seen deals like this just a few months after a new console is released. However, we would like to remind you of the fact that all European Xbox One consoles pre-ordered got FIFA 14 bundled for free.

Would hate to be one of the earlier adopters of Xbox One now this
happens 3 moths in. But its why I’ve never liked MS as a company. They
treat their customers like. ” Hey come over here, bend over this. Oh and
you might want to bite down on something!!”
