Xbox One players get first access to the Fallout 76 beta

There was a reason why we saw Xbox branding during the Fallout 76 reveal trailer. Now it has been confirmed that Xbox One players will have first access to the upcoming Fallout 76 beta.

Not much was said at the time about the Xbox branding featuring on Fallout 76 at E3 but now it looks like Bethesda has made it clear that they have partnered with Microsoft for the upcoming online title.

While this will be a blow to PS4 owners with regards to potential timed-exclusive DLC, Microsoft may see it as simply balancing the books with Sony recently doing deals of their own with the likes of Call of Duty.

You can see confirmation from Bethesda in the screenshot above taken from the FAQ, while we are still waiting for a release date from the developer as well for when the beta will start.

Remember that to gain access to the beta, you will have to pre-order Fallout 76 first – can you get the game for a good price here.

What are your thoughts on Microsoft securing exclusivity for the game?
