We have a quick heads-up on the planned Xbox One update that is set to hit the console over the coming weeks. We have been keeping you updated on progress for this update, but now we have some fresh details on what you can specifically expect to see from Microsoft.
This update has been in the works for some time and we’re pleased to say that it is looking like being a major update for the Xbox One as well.
An article published by the Verge confirms that this update will be available for download sometime in March. Microsoft will specifically target key areas such as Xbox Live, problems with Party Chat and also improving on some issues relating to social aspects of the Xbox One.
We told you in December that the update had been billed as being ‘amazing’, while another clue on the update in January suggested that fixing the social experience on Xbox One would be a key target for Microsoft too.
There’s no set date yet in March for when this will be happening, but you can bet that excitement will start to go through the roof on potential new features that Microsoft are keeping secret for now.
If it’s a major update, we want to see some new functionality as well, on top of all the planned improvements as highlighted above.
Hopefully we’ll be able to bring you more information on this soon. What would you like to see in the next major Xbox One 2014 update from Microsoft?
