Xbox One Kinect video features game abilities

The amount of news pouring out of Gamescom is increasing with the event underway and this includes Xbox One’s Kinect with new features. Today, we wanted to feature a few videos that show how much the new 2013 Kinect has improved with Xbox One.

You can see a hands-on with Xbox One’s next-generation Kinect in the first video below. It runs for just over 7 minutes and displays some Xbox One Kinect gameplay and reveals new game abilities during a demo, although reactions so far on YouTube are mixed. Some people think Kinect 2.0 is “very impressive” and others feel it is “garbage”, so feel free to share your thoughts in the comments after watching the Xbox One Kinect gameplay.

The PS4 release date has been announced, but the same cannot be said for a precise Xbox One launch date. We have been getting plenty of gameplay though that includes some official trailers and new Xbox One games being revealed.

Two games coming exclusive to Xbox One are Fighter Within and Fable Legends. The latter title can be seen in an official trailer via the second video below, although Fighter Within will be a game taking advantage of the new Kinect sensor. This means much better movement when compared to the Xbox 360’s Kinect accessory, so expect to be using your total body when kicking and punching in Fighter Within.

Finally, Microsoft also revealed some next-gen Kinect voice capture and motion thanks to Xbox One’s Project Spark at Gamescom. This platform will allow gamers to create digital spaces for their games with the help of SmartGlass and Xbox One’s new Kinect sensor. Take a look at the Project Spark Community Montage in the last video below.

Will you be sharing your dynamic creations with the Xbox One community? Are you excited about the new Xbox One Kinect Sensor?
