Xbox One June update features

As we told you earlier this week, the Xbox One June update 2014 is now live. At the time of writing the update went live to fix a specific Xbox One problem with Games with Gold.

Now though, we are happy to bring you a much more detailed look at what the Xbox One June features offer. Microsoft’s Major Nelson has given users a personal walkthrough of the update, especially a closer look at the Xbox One external storage feature.

Another major Xbox One feature that was heavily requested by the community and now arrived is Xbox One real names. Just like PS4, you now have the option of using your real name instead of Gamer Tag if you prefer, or you can just continue as normal.

On top of the Games with Gold June update which we have already told you about, Microsoft are also giving access to the likes of Netflix, Hulu Plus and HBO GO without needing an Xbox Live Gold subscription.

If you are looking for what else is new in the update, check out the fantastic preview video below. For those that have been using the update already for a while, tell us your experiences so far.

Is this one of the best Xbox One updates to happen in a long time?
