During our review of FIFA 14 on Xbox One, we wondered where the controller battery life indicator was and could never find it. The answer ended up being really simple, and this is the fact that there isn’t one but this is all about to change after the next Xbox One software update.
Microsoft’s Larry Hryb, aka Major Nelson, has tweeted an image seen on this page that reveals a screenshot of the new Xbox One controller battery life indicator. It will be arriving in the software update next week, along with a number of other improvements and fixes.
The majority of reactions to Major Nelson’s tweet were “Thanks”, but some gamers wondered why this feature wasn’t there in the first place.
It is great to see something so simple being added at last, which has been a pain for those using the Xbox One since launch and wanting to see how much battery life a controller has easily on the screen just like we did with Xbox 360.
Did you wonder where the Xbox One controller battery life indicator was? If so, is there anything else you think needs to be added in a future Xbox One update?
