Xbox Live core services down for Xbox One on March 7

We have a quick heads-up to all gamers playing on Xbox One or Xbox 360 today, as it appears that Microsoft has suffered a serious outage with their servers which has had a major impact on Hotmail or Outlook but also Xbox Live core services on March 7, 2017 as well.

Firstly, if you have been caught up in the Outlook outage today you can recap our news here which appears to have finally been fixed by Microsoft after around 1 hour of downtime globally.

For gamers though, the problems are persisting we can see and this is currently what you see if you go to the official Xbox Live status checker.


As you can see, the big problem is the trying to sign into Xbox Live on Xbox One right now with Microsoft aware of the issue despite appearing to have fixed the main Outlook outage.

We suggest you keep refreshing the status page for the latest updates and to help us determine how big the problems are leave us a comment below if Xbox Live is down for you right now.
