Xbox Games with Gold March 2016 in early leak rumor

We are now just two weeks away from another round of Xbox Games with Gold free games for March 1 2016. This is the date when the first batch of games will be available, so has there been any leaks so far to give us any clues?

For those that have forgotten, last month’s game was leaked well in advance with Hand of Fate being offered as well as as Styx on Xbox One. Meanwhile, Xbox 360 owners had some great games to play for free too with the likes of Sacred Citadel and Gears of War 2.

So the big question: What are Microsoft going to offer for the free games for March 2016 Xbox Games with Gold?

It looks like we have have had yet another early Xbox Games with Gold March 2016 leak as the screenshot above recently shared to Twitter suggests that Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments will be offered in March on Xbox One.

Remember that this was the same format in which Hand of Fate was leaked so it could be promising. The screenshot is no longer available on console, so it may have been up for minutes before the mistake was realised.

We’ll keep our eyes open from now until the end of the month for more leaks. In the meantime, tell us what you want to see next month and if you would be happy to get Sherlock Holmes for free.

It is well worth mentioning that Sherlock Holmes Devil’s Daughter is the follow up and that is due out on May 27 – perfect marketing opportunity for Microsoft.
