Xbox 360 Titanfall launches prematurely

Xbox 360 players have been eagerly waiting for Titanfall since it launched for Xbox One and PC back on March 11th. Some lucky players have managed to get their hands on an Xbox 360 copy of Titanfall early thanks to a premature launch by some naughty retailers in a few different countries.

Titanfall for Xbox 360 is not supposed to be released until April 8th in the US and 11th in Europe; however copies of the game have reportedly surfaced in France and Brazil. There has been a rather humorous exchange of Tweets between the official Titanfall account and an early buyer who was wondering why she could not connect to the game online.

The Titanfall team at Respawn seemed quite concerned and confused as to how the Twitter user got the Xbox 360 version of the game, asking her in their reply. It turns out that a game retailer in Sao Paulo, Brazil is simply selling them early. Titanfall informed the user the reason why she could not connect was because the game was not releasing until April 8th.

It is unlikely players who bought the game early will be banned, unlike cheats in the Xbox One and PC versions. Once thing we can confirm from this premature release is that the game will require 1 GB or storage space to download. If you have seen or managed to buy a copy of Titanfall for Xbox 360 early then let us know by leaving a comment.
