E3 is just around the corner and the games and consoles manufacturers are working hard to prepare for the event no doubt. Sony will be entering the conference probably hoping no questions about the recent hacking incidents arise, while Nintendo will be excited to tease its next generation console.
Microsoft however will be entering E3 with their heads held high as they are claiming their Xbox 360 has ‘revolutionized’ how long consoles’ shelf lives are. This bold claim comes from evidence of a sales chart where Sony have found their PS3 sales slowing the Xbox 360 has seen a 29% increase.
We previously brought you news that the sales were up from last year and whether it could have anything to do with the PSN outage. According to the article at Slashgear, the company is reported to have sold 55 million consoles in 38 countries and have seen sales continue to rise.
At the E3 event Microsoft is expected to give talks about their new Xbox LIVE Diamond TV service. If you’d like to know more about the Microsoft sales check out the full article at Slashgear where there is a chart of all the consoles sales.
Are you looking forward to E3?
