WWE 2K14 Bret Hart, Undertaker in classic matches

Wrestling fans are certainly in for a treat when WWE 2K14 arrives next month and to wet your appetite for the game further, we now have confirmation of an update to the official WWE 2K14 roster – adding more legends into the mix with the current crop of new generation superstars.

It has been a while since we last heard about any fresh information about WWE 2K14, but we’re pleased to confirm some major new announcements for the game ahead of the impending release date on October 31 – which is right in the midst of some other major game releases as well, Battlefield 4, Assassin’s Creed 4 to name a few.

Fans of Bret Hart and The Undertaker are going to be pleased with this one, as the WWE and developers Yukes have revealed that classic matches from Wrestlemania are going to be featured in WWE 2K14. To give you an idea of this, you’ll be able to recreate the iconic ladder match at Wrestlemania 10 between Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon.

You can also relive the epic encounter between HBK and Bret Hart at Wrestlemania 12 and Undertaker’s matchup with Diesel at the same event. Some images have been released in conjunction with this announcement and it should definitely add to the deep story mode in the game that also comes with storylines from the Attitude Era.

If you take a glance at the official 2K14 roster, you’ll see that Yokozuna has now been added to the game, as well as a confirmation of three iterations of the Undertaker – his current theme, his old school theme and also his ‘American Badass’ persona as well.

We miss this Undertaker..

It’s interesting to see Batista included on the roster as well, despite him apparently cutting all ties with WWE as far as WWE programming is concerned – the same can perhaps be said for Razor Ramon aka Scott Hall as well.

Will you be picking up WWE 2K14 this year or giving it a miss? Hopefully the graphics will be improved upon in the final build as we haven’t been too impressed so far.
