WWE 2K14 American Badass gameplay desired

If you thought the Ultimate Warrior pre-order offer for WWE 2K14 was exciting, 2K games has just lined up something potentially more rewarding for you. If you opt for one of the special editions of the game, you’ll be pleased to hear that there is now a ‘Phenom’ edition of WWE 2K14 featuring the ‘deadman’ himself, the Undertaker.

More importantly though, it looks like this Phenom Edition is the only way to get your hands on a playable version of the American Badass, Undertaker’s alter ego from the heydays of the Attitude Era. His trademark motorbike entrance is included as well, but we’ll have to see if his Limp Bizkit entrance music is licensed or not.

The downside of this, is that the Phenom Edition of WWE 2K14 is going to cost $100 at retail. Aside from the game and the American Badass unlock, the package also includes the Undertaker’s Wrestlemania streak DVD, Undertaker controller skin, a tombstone-shaped tin coffin, signed art and also access to the Ultimate Warrior character as well which is usually reserved to pre-orders.

2k Games are yet to release any gameplay for the American Badass character, but we’re guessing pre-orders for the Phenom Edition will pick up considerably once the first gameplay is out. For now, you can enjoy a screenshot as seen above – he looks pretty cool, right?

$100 is obviously a lot of money to pay though, is it really worth it in your opinion? It’s good business tactics by 2K Games and WWE, but we have a feeling many of you won’t be willing to pay $100 just to play as the American Badass in the game. Give us your immediate thoughts on this below.
