WWE 13 Attitude Era ‘wrestlers’ that should replace Mike Tyson

We told you that Iron Mike Tyson was coming to WWE 13 in a previous report, but now THQ has just made things official. The legendary boxer will be a playable character in the upcoming brawler and will be themed on his Attitude Era appearances back during the late 90s.

If you want to have an opportunity to play as the ‘Baddest man on the planet’, all you have to do is pre-order the game through select retailers. His appearance is even more evidence that this rumored roster leak is correct and if WWE are willing to put in a non-wrestler such as Tyson in the game, you have to wonder who else is coming or which Attitude Era wrestlers are not even going to be considered.

The in-game model of Tyson can be seen in the image above. Notice that he has the haircut and same D-generation X outfit that he sported back in 1998, rather than his bald-headed appearance at the moment. Should he really be in the game though? Imagine when the final roster is revealed officially and crucial Attitude Era guys like Steve Blackman and Gangrel are not included? We understand that there may be potential licensing problems along the way, but we feel that WWE really need to pull out all of the stops if they are going to justify Iron Mike’s appearance in the game.

We don’t see the APA on that roster list either. Farooq and Bradshaw were just as big players in the Attitude Era as Stone Cold and The Rock in our opinion, so let’s get them confirmed before a non-wrestler first shall we? Check out the new Mike Tyson WWE 13 promo and let us know your thoughts on his inclusion.

Who should be taking his place in your opinion? What is his finisher going to be – the ear bite?
