Just a few hours ago we received an email from Apple explaining the WWDC 2013 tickets will go on sale within 24 hours, on April 25, and should be available for purchase by 10AM PDT. Apple sent the above image with the email and a tagline stating ‘Where great ideas take shape’.
WWDC 2013 dates — while the email lacked the finer details, it did reveal the dates of June 10-14 in San Francisco. Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference is not a cheap event to attend, which this link makes clear with a price for WWDC 2013 tickets at $1,599.
Make sure you’re ready to buy — you should make sure you’re eligible to purchase a ticket for WWDC this year, and the full details can be found via the above link. In a nutshell you need to be a member of the Mac Developer Program, or the Developer Enterprise / iOS Developer Program.
If you want to go to WWDC 2013 and are aged between 13 and 17 years of age, then you will need to make sure an eligible guardian or parent purchases the ticket.
It is also worth noting that you can only purchase one ticket for WWDC, unless you’re an organization, which in this case you can purchase up to five tickets.
Will you be going to WWDC 2013, or will you skip the high ticket price and watch the news online? You might also want to read about iPhone 6 release date oddities in a previous article.
