WWDC 2011: Location, Dates and Wish List

WWDC 2011 is not for another 6 months, but people have already started to show their interest in the event. The Wolrdwide Developers Conference is to take place in June, and looking back on last year’s event we can expect to see a fifth-generation iPhone.

We cannot be certain what else Apple will announce during the event, but do not expect a new Apple TV or MacBook Air as we did last year. The former received an update in September with the MacBook Air getting its update a couple of months later.

During WWDC 2010 there were a few sessions that talked you through all the different features of what was then called iPhone OS, so this year we can be certain that these sessions will concentrate on the latest version of iOS — not certain if it will be version 4 or 5.

There is no specific date as yet, but we can tell you that the event will be held in San Francisco as usual. People have been asking me what my wish list is, and I only have one — an iPhone that gives me a better reception than the iPhone 4. I love the current handset, but I do not like the fact that I have to hide such a nice design in order to place a call. Give us your iPhone 5 design ideas.

What is your wish list for WWDC 2011?
