More and more news keeps coming from the Blizzard camp regarding the release of Cataclysm and the 3.3.9 patch, and this time Blizzard have revealed information about the inclusion of Battle.net making it possible for players to talk to friends who play on different servers and factions.
The idea is that Blizzard want to integrate Battle.net into the game’s existing friends list, so you can talk to friends that span over different servers and factions while you sit in Dalaran, run your favorite Heroic, or wipe in your weekly raid. The official release regarding the Battle.net integration can be found via WoW.com here.
Blizzard, and WoW.com have also covered some details on the upcoming Echo Isles content, which is currently set as a Cataclysm feature. Beforehand though, it was listed as pre-Cataclysm content, possibly to be included in the 3.3.9 patch.
For people that also want information regarding patch 3.3.5, which is set to include the all new Ruby Sanctum raid, there is still no concrete information as regards to when it will be released, but expect all new content and loot for you to dribble over. For more information about patch 3.3.5 and the Ruby Sanctum, check out a post by WoW.com here.
