The WoW 5.4.2 patch notes were made available to us earlier this month, but it seems as though a few changes have been added over the past day or two, which have not been added to the new patch notes.
It’s nothing new seeing stealth changes like these in World of Warcraft. Both changes were to do with PvP, one is permanent and the other will no doubt be removed because it was included by accident. However, we know that it will be included in the WoW 6 update.
If you love the arena part of WoW, then we are afraid you are going to hate this first change that is here to stay.
The Dismiss Pet change is here to stay and has now been made a little harder, meaning you can no longer change your pets when the arena starts, but before, which means they will not enter with full health if changed when the event starts.
Next was the change made to Dampening, which as you well know is a stacking healing reduction debuff, which would usually start 10 minutes in, but was changed to 5 minutes. This will no doubt be reverted back to 10 minutes for now at least. Joytiq has a greater insight of this, along with what some World of Warcraft players think of these new changes.
