Windows Update troubleshooter download file necessity

People have started to download the Windows Update troubleshooter file more frequently over the past week than we have seen for months, as they try to prepare their machines for a smooth update to Windows 10 in a month’s time.

The problem is, users seem more bothered than ever knowing they are having problems with installing updates, for Windows 7, 8 and 8.1, although have been putting off trying to get to the bottom of it.

Troubleshooting problems with installing updates

However, with the release of Windows 10 looming, you will be surprised at just how many people have started to find out why they are having issues when it comes to updating.

You run the Windows Update Troubleshooter by downloading the file for Windows 7, Windows 8.1, or go through the solutions for 8 of the most common problems when it comes to installing these updates.

You are better off trying the download first to see if this automatically fixes your problems, and only then should you then start working through the list of solutions for Windows 7 and 8.1.
