Windows Phone 7 Update 7932, Changes Are Security-Centric

A recent article posted on ZDNet tells us that a new update has been launched for Windows Phone 7, don’t get too excited though as the changes all seem to be security related.

The 7932 update went live yesterday and your WP7 smartphone should show a notification telling you that the update is available, you will have to sync your device to your computer to complete the update process. Also as Windows Phone 7 updates are cumulative it will also install any previous updates you have missed out on.

Once you have installed the update a security-related issue should be resolved relating to fraudulent digital certificates from Comodo, if you have not yet received the notification don’t worry too much as it should hit your handset pretty soon.

Obviously it is nice to see Microsoft taking care of security issues, however we guess that lots of you have more Windows Phone 7 imperfections which you would like to see resolved as well, what WP7 problems would you like to see fixed?

Did the update process go smoothly for you?
