Windows Phone 7: Top Apps for December 2010

I don’t know about you guys, but I quite often check out the Apple App Store on my iPhone 4 to see what new apps there are to download. However, if you own a Windows Phone 7 device, then you’ll know that Windows Marketplace isn’t exactly the easiest to navigate.

That’s why I thought I would give our readers a little helping hand, by bringing them a list of the best WP7 apps for December 2010 courtesy of Keith Andrew over at electricpig.co.uk. The very first app on the list is the Check-In app, which allows you to check in wherever you are.

While the official Facebook app for WP7 may be quite good in some ways, it doesn’t actually have the function to check in via the Places tab. That is why Check-In is a great app, as it automatically posts to your Facebook page as soon as you check in at your favorite bar or restaurant etc.

Another app on the list is a game called Birdy Bounce, which is very similar to the Doodle Jump game. The only difference is that instead of guiding a doodle man up the screen, you’re guiding some sort of bird. You can even use the phone’s accelerometer, to tilt the character from platform to platform.

You can read the full list via electricpig.co.uk. If you want to check out even more apps then try visiting marketplace.windowsphone.com.
