Windows Phone 7: List of Launch Devices – Which one will you choose?

Following on from our earlier report which told you about unconfirmed UK and US launch dates for Windows Phone 7 handsets, we would now like to know which handset interests you the most.

According this report from Electronista, three handsets appear to be the frontrunners for Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 launch, and we can tell you that they are the HTC Mondrian, Samsung Cetus and the LG Optimus One.

Specific details on all three handsets are still unknown since Microsoft nor the manufacturers have officially confirmed them yet. However, we do have some initial details based on rumors we’ve accumulated over the past few months.

HTC Mondrian: This is going to be HTC’s first WP7 launch device and is also doing the rounds as the HTC ‘Schubert’. It will feature a 4.3-inch WVGA touchscreen display and a super fast 1.3GHz Qualcomm QSD8650A/B Snapdragon processor. Other specs include a camera no less than 5MP and HD video recording. You can see a video of the HTC Mondrian in action here.

Samsung Cetus (i917): Rumored features of the Samsung Cetus include a 4-inch AMOLED screen, 800×600 resolution and a 5 megapixel camera. A hands-on video of the Cetus can be seen here, presented by Microsoft’s Charlie Kindel.

LG Optimus 7: As for this device, we don’t know too much about it, but we have dug around and found this 20 minute hands on video for you courtesy of Pocket-Lint. Check it out for full details on LG’s WP7 device.

Hopefully we’ll get some official news on all three WP7 launch handsets, but for now – let us know your initial impressions of all three. Which one is better in your opinion?
