Windows Phone 7: Full details of developer tools released

For all you developers out there who are planning on working within Microsoft’s Phone 7 Series operating system, you’ll be pleased to know that Microsoft has just detailed the series of tools that you will have at your disposal.

As reported from Information Week, it is understood that the majority of these tools have been modified for use within mobile environments.

Such tools include Visual Studio 2010 Express, XNA Game Studio 4.0, a full emulator of Windows Phone 7 for application testing and Expression Blend – all of which are tailored for use on the new platform.

Microsoft are hoping that the release of these tools to developers will help to maintain a ‘consistent environment’ for developers in the long run.
