Windows 9 preview videos demonstrate user experience

The Windows 9 release date for the technical preview is around two weeks away, and as you would expect people are eager to know what to expect. However, you don’t have to wait that long because several videos have now appeared online showing many of the operating system’s new features.

There are three Windows 9 preview videos in all, one that looks at the return of the Start Menu, which we will elaborate on in a later post, then there is a video that looks at the Notification Center, and finally a sneak peak at the Multi-Desktop in action.

We now get a good idea as to how Microsoft has fused desktop and tablet features in a far better way, although there are some of you out there who believe that Windows 9 is a step backwards, and so we ask that you view the three videos below and give us your honest opinion.

It is worth taking into consideration that there could be a few changes seeing as though these videos are of a pre-preview, although we doubt these changes will be massive. However, one would assume that the Windows 9 user interface will be updated compared to that of what we see in the videos below.

We have already heard from some of our readers – who believe that Microsoft does not have a clue what to do with Windows because rather than improve on what they already have, just as Apple does with Max OS X, they seem to keep going backwards, which in turn makes things worse.

Windows 7 was a good basis, and instead of building upon this with Windows 8 they decided on a new direction, and it seems they are repeating history once again, although this does seem like a regular occurrence with many aspects of Microsoft’s business.
