Wimbledon 2013 schedule of play and live scores via apps

Today is the start of Wimbledon 2013, and is the best chance for Andy Murray to win this year, following his victory at Queen’s, which is also on grass. However, if you were to ask him or his coach, they would have you believe he has no chance of ever winning the Wimbledon Championships, and most Brit’s will share this way of thinking, as they have not had a great history with the All England Lawn Tennis Club.

Anyway, back to the news at hand, because like we said above, the event kicks off today, with the first matches being played in a few hours. Tennis fans will no doubt be looking up the Wimbledon 2013 schedule of play for today, and for the next two weeks, and one of the easiest ways to do this is with The Championships, Wimbledon 2013 app for the iPhone and Android, both of which are free.

Not only will the app give you access to the schedule of play, but you can also look up the Wimbledon 2013 live scores as well. However, there are some other great features on these apps, both of which offer the same in-depth details, such as the draws, news, live blog, photos and even player performance alerts, which you can set by your favorite player.

However, two other important features are the Wimbledon 2013 results, along with the player profiles, as you can get to see just what kind of form they are in, and what their chances are of winning this year.

Things are not all fantastic with this app though, as there are some Wimbledon 2013 app problems, such as the latest Android version coming up with the message “Wimbledon app has encountered a problem. Please try again later.” There was also the issue that there was not an iOS version of the app optimized for the iPad, but as from June 20, 2013 there is now one that fully supports Apple’s tablet.
