Wii’s Just Dance beats Modern Warfare 2 (PS3, Xbox 360)

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been the best selling game for almost two months now, although the game is great, we were getting bored with seeing it No.1 over the weeks. However, Just Dance for the Nintendo Wii taken the top spot as the best selling game in the UK.

This is a shock, as Just Dance is an average game by Ubisoft, but just shows how surprising the market can be. According to Softpedia, Just Dance is a lot like Dance Revolution, the player has to use the Wiimote to try and copy the moves as the dancer on the screen.

There are some classic tracks on the game, these include “Who Let the Dogs Out?” from the Baha Men, “Pump Up the Jam” from Technotronic, dancer pulls on the screen of the Wii. The tracks list includes such classics as “You Can’t Touch This” from MC Hammer, and many more.

Modern Warfare 2 is now at number three in the UK games chart, the second best selling game is another title for Nintendo, Wii Fit Plus. Do not count the new Call of Duty game out just yet; once more maps become available sales are certain to increase once again.

The UK game chart had one new entry, and that was Army of Two: The 40th Day, which we discussed in a recent post.
