Wii U gamers happy with Injustice DLC at last

We finally have some good news for Wii U owners who have made the decision to purchase popular fighting game Injustice: God’s Among Us. The title from the makers of Mortal Kombat is also available on Xbox 360 and PS3, but DLC had previously been held back on Nintendo’s version. We’re pleased to report that this has now changed though, with the availability of all post-release DLC for the game, including the new General Zod character.

That General Zod character is of course, based on the appearance of the character from the recent Man of Steel movie – well worth a watch if you haven’t seen it yet. He is also joined by a Man of Steel skin for Superman, so it is definitely worth picking up Injustice if you haven’t had the chance to play it yet.

For those that do have the game, you should be able to see the new content the next time you enter Nintendo’s eShop. General Zod is available with a complete moveset for $4.99, while the Man of Steel suit is yours to own for just $0.99 – sounds like a bargain to us.

That is only a taster of what is available, as you can view a full list of new DLC items here. For Mortal Kombat fans, you may be surprised to see that Scorpion is also available as a DLC character for $4.99, while there are also two skin packs that are proving to be a hot item as well – the Ame-Comi pack which includes Catwoman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, and the Lockdown pack which will give you skins for Prison Superman, Knightfall Bane and Batman Beyond.

How would you rate Injustice: Gods Among Us with the likes of Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter 4?
