Wii Play Motion: New Screens Reveal More Mini-Games

Back in April we provided our European readers with a release date for the Wii Play Motion game. We also brought them a few details about the upcoming title, including information on some of the mini-games that fans can expect to see when it arrives next month.

However, it now appears that a few more of the mini-games have been revealed, thanks to the very first screens of the Wii Play Motion title. According to Thomas East over at, one of the very first games to be revealed on the box art was Skip Skimmer.

In the Skip Skimmer mini-game, up to 4 players take it in turns to skip stones through a number of rings. The aim is to reach the target at the end. Then there is the previously mentioned Cone Zone, in which players have to tilt the Wii Remote Plus to balance ice cream in a giant cone.

Another game that has recently been revealed is Spooky Search, which involves you working with up to three of your mates in order to catch and collect wayward spirits by listening to sounds coming from the speaker on your Wii Remote Plus.

Players can also look forward to a whack-a-mole style game, a gem collecting game, one that puts you in control of a spaceship and a game that seems to have players wafting a balloon towards a target. You can view the screenshots via the website.
