White Xbox One jealousy with special console

Microsoft has been known to be fairly generous when it comes to handing out bonuses to employees, but this one is perhaps the icing on the cake. It has been revealed that all Microsoft employees are in line to receive a special white edition of the Xbox One, that won’t be made available to the general public.

Furthermore, this white version of the console will come with all first party games from Microsoft, as well as one year of Xbox Live – all free if you work for the company. Perhaps the most amazing aspect of the system though, is that it contains special engraving near the disc drive which reads ‘I MADE THIS’.

Very cool when you think about it, and it’s a lovely gesture by Microsoft to give something back to their Xbox One team. Images of the console can be seen over at Reddit here, and now we’re wondering when we are going to see the first one appear on Ebay, most likely for a completely ridiculous and over the top price – that some crazy individual would still be willing to pay.

The white console theme is very nice indeed and there’s even a white and black controller to go with it as well. We would be very surprised if this version didn’t become available to buy, as we have a feeling many of you would actually prefer to pick up this color compared to the standard black console.

Microsoft clearly states that this version is ‘unique for their team’ so perhaps we won’t be seeing this any time soon. Check out the images for yourself and let us know if you are feeling slightly jealous right now. We would love to get our hands on one of these – who wouldn’t?
