White iPhone 4 or Motorola Droid 2: Release Date Choices

For those of you who are coming towards the end of your current contract with a respective carrier, it looks as if you have plenty of choices on deciding which smartphone is best for you in the future.

We want your opinions now, on two of the most eagerly awaited handsets this year. The White iPhone 4 was supposed to launch normally alongside the black model last month, but due to possible manufacturing issues, Apple pushed a release date back, and we are now expecting it to be available at the end of this month. Because of these events, the white iPhone 4 has now become a much sought after item.

Then there is the Motorola Droid 2. Verizon know that a good deal of consumers would have just commited to a brand new deal to take home the Droid X. For those of you who have been patient enough to wait, it looks like you’re about to be rewarded, as we just heard the Droid 2 will come with OS Android 2.2 Froyo, unlike the Droid X which shipped with 2.1 Eclair – sounds ancient now doesn’t it?

Both the iPhone 4 and Motorola Droid 2 are big players in the market – but which suits you best? Let us know which one you are going for, and why.
