White iPhone 4: DIY Parts – Did you make one?

We have some interesting news to bring you now, as it has been reported that Apple co-Founder Steve Wozniak already has a White iPhone 4, but instead of just being given the device, he made it himself using hardware parts he bought online.

This of course isn’t the first time this has happened, but perhaps the first time that such a high profile figure has used the White iPhone 4 ‘DIY’ option of obtaining the elusive device.

This got us thinking – how many of you have also used this method to obtain a White iPhone 4? It is obvious that finding the parts yourself from online shops can be a long and daunting process, but well worth it if you find the right parts. Finding the parts themselves are not too hard, you can easily find them online for sale on various Chinese websites, as well as on Ebay as well.

Engadget put their own White iPhone 4 DIY guide together back in June, if you’re interested in seeing how they managed it, you can check out their article here. Take a read and let us know if you have bought White iPhone 4 parts or if you’re planning to.
