White BlackBerry Z10 delayed by two weeks

The BlackBerry 10 Launch Event is to begin within the hour and as with events like Apple devices we’re hearing one or two rumors that could prove very interesting that might effect your buying decision. It’s almost certain that those of you in the UK will be able to get your hands on the black BlackBerry Z10 later today or tomorrow.

However, we have now learned that the white BlackBerry Z10 might be delayed by two weeks, which would mean that the release date would be February 15th, a day after Valentine’s Day. This news leaked via a company inventory system, and while some people would assume that this cannot be fact because of how basic the inventory system looks, most companies use very simple systems because what is the use of having a flash looking system when it is not needed?

We’re almost sure that many consumers and business users will wonder why they would want a white version of the Z10 because it’s considered more of a color for girls. However, we’re not too sure about that because the white iPhone 5 does seem to stand out much more than the black version, and we have seen countless men using them.

It will be interesting to see if RIM will stop at black and white versions of the BlackBerry Z10 or if this is the start of several other colors coming to the market in the not too distant future? One would presume that they are waiting to see the public reception for the Z10 before they commit to further colors.
