Whatsapp has had a another new update on iOS this week, offering the ability to draw on pictures with a new Whatsapp camera feature.
The current version is Whatsapp 2.16.12 but once again we can see that many of you are asking us for a fix on how to change the sound notifications on Whatsapp after updating.
There is a persistent bug that happens after every Whatsapp iOS update, that changes your Whatsapp sound notifications to default no matter how many times you manually select a custom one in iOS settings.
You can see from the live feedback above on Twitter this week, that Whatsapp has still not fixed this problem properly and it is still happening to lots of iPhone users after installation.
The good news is that there is a fix for this. Simply restart your phone, or hard restart (holding down power and home button) to fix the Whatsapp sound notification bug on iOS.
For some reason a restart solves the problem and we’re willing to bet that most of you do not even realise this. If our information helped you, leave a comment below to give others a heads-up.
