What iPad 2 Needs To Do To Beat Rivals: Nothing

Most tech websites including us all assume that Apple will be launching their new iPad later today, this was because of the image that we were teased with when they announced the media event for later today. With the craze that has surrounded tablet devices during CES and MWC we have to wonder what the iPad 2 needs to do in order to beat it’s rivals? The answer is very simple, nothing.

Do not start to think that we are Apple fans, as we have been accused of on so many occasions. We are just stating what PC World said, saying that all Apple needs to do is turn up, as they already have the competition beat. This is a strong statement, one that needs looking into more closely.

They state the obvious when saying that some of the most important features of a tablet are the features, but there is more to it than that. We cannot be certain what Apple will offer us in the way of improvement — although we do have a few ideas.

There are five things that makes the iPad 2 a winner even before we get our hands on it, they are as follows: the number one tablet, 2nd generation will get rid of the bugs from the first edition, apps, iOS and finally the price. That last one is so important, and Apple needs to make sure that they do not increase the price too much, as they usually do when they launch a new iPhone.

We do not have that long to wait — just a few hours — until we know what Apple has to offer. One thing we do know, rivals will be watching to see if the iPad 2 is a threat or not.

Do you think that the iPad 2 will still dominate the tablet market?
