Westinghouse WE55UC4200 55-inch TV reviews, a users perspective

It’s at this time of the year that people go mad for new TVs because they know there are an abundance of models available, and we often see online retailers trying to entice you onto their website in order to procure your custom. It’s not just the big boys that people care about, but some of the little players as well, such as Westinghouse because they do tend to get a lot for your money.

One such model that we feel will do very popular in the last days of November is the Westinghouse WE55UC4200, which is a 55-inch, 4K Ultra High-Definition Smart TV currently being sold at Kohl’s for the small sum of $499.99, which is said to deliver a stunning viewing experience.

You should not expect too much from a 55-inch 4K TV that cost less than $500, but it’s still a huge leap from a Full HD 1080p TV, just as long as you have the UHD content to enjoy.

Westinghouse WE55UC4200 specs are what you would expect, which includes that 54.6-inch, 3840 x 2160p display, with a refresh rate of 60Hz, and an aspect ratio of 16.:9, along with 2×6 watts sound output, which does seem low for a TV of this size.

In terms of its design, this is just plain looking, very much the same as other budget 4K TV models on the market. However they have certainly moved on over the years, and not just an ugly bit of plastic and metal.

From what we can see, the Westinghouse WE55UC4200 55-inch TV reviews are not too great based on what users have been saying HERE. The biggest issue is the lack of Smart features, with there just being a few simple apps installed and not much else. This is not good with a TV in this day and age, as it does not take too much to add in Smart features. If Westinghouse was to do this, then we feel the review rating could go from a 2.8 out of 5 to far higher, maybe even a 4 at least.
