Westinghouse 55-in. LED HDTV specs for 1080p models

If you have your mind set on a Westinghouse 55-in. LED HDTV there are several models to choose from. This brand is always popular at this time of the year, with the price being the biggest factor. We know there are cheaper TVs out there, but then that means it will be too much of a compromise in terms of specs and features. So let’s have a look at what is available for consumers.

Westinghouse 55-inch models: There are five in all that we know of, and those are the DWM55F1A1, DWM55F1Y2, DWM55F2Y1, DWM55F1G1, as well as the DWM55F1Y1, which we have already taken a look at.

Westinghouse 55-IN. LED HDTV specs – The specifications for each model vary, but not by much. All models come with 54.6″ Diagonal panel with 1920 x 1080 resolution and 16:9 maximum aspect ratio. The refresh rate for each has not been listed, although we suspect they will all be 60Hz. What does change are the contrast ratios, and so we will list them in order of how they appear above. 3200:1, and 3200~4000:1 for the other models on that list.

All of these come with 3 HDMI inputs, and 1 USB, although none seem to offer WiFi, which means they do not support any Smart TV features, but with set-boxes being so cheap it’s not really too much of an issue.

If you do not want to take the chance on going for such a budget brand, then the Samsung UN55HU7200FXZA could be ideal. We know this is much more expensive, but not when you consider it is a Curved LED model.
